The process of creating cell-like Nanosome structures requires ultrasonic radiation and other sophisticated techniques proprietary to DS Laboratories. Readily viewed under a microscope, these next-generation vesicles remain intact, unlike earlier liposomes, even when exposed to temperatures over 30°C and pH levels as low as 3 (acidic) and as high as 14 (alkaline). 
The bilayers of Nanosomes are physiologically similar to the material of natural cell membranes. When a cosmetic containing Nanosomes is applied to the skin, the containers break down, merge with cellular membranes, and release their payload of active ingredients into cells. The result is targeted delivery into the cells and slow release over an extended time frame. One major advantage is that active ingredients continue working at the treatment site, where hair shedding occurs, over the course of many hours.
